Humble Beginnings
First Southern Baptist Church of Glendale was founded by a small group of believers who longed to plant a Bible-preaching church in the growing West Valley. From the beginning, the mission was clear: worship Jesus, live the Bible, and reach everyone.
Decades of Growth
Through the decades, the Lord brought new families, raised up new leaders, and opened new ministries. Children grew into adults who now serve and lead. New neighbors became dear friends. The campus on 59th Avenue has become a home for generations of Glendale residents.
The Same Mission Today
Times change, but the gospel does not. We remain committed to the same Bible, the same Savior, and the same Great Commission that started this church. We are excited for what God will do in the years ahead.
